Omgosh, I can’t believe I’m still laughing like an idiot to the few scenes shown in this clip, which I had watched like for the Nth time already. Gosh, this clip totally reminds me as to why RTP must win in the upcoming SIDA.
Really? Haha, you know what? Keep that habit, it’s a good one.
Exactly! ..that’s what everybody should do. I mean, to set a specific time to vote, everyday, without fail…
…until it officially closes. We can only do that much for our Prince and his team.

You can totally tell the difference between LSJ & LG.
He gave different lives to these two characters. Is that not what being a good actor is all about???
I get my friend to roughly translate this clip for me, hehe~ Here we go!
“26 years old PYC – a cutie “flower boy” nobody can resist.”
PYC didn’t participate in many dramas, but with the few that he’s participated in, all seem well-received.
He doesn’t have the typical “flower boy” look (erm, I wonder how a typical “flower boy” looks like, haha~ big eyes, thick eyebrows? Pink lips? Fair skin? ^^) but instead he’s the super adorable/cute type and one whereby the more you look at him the more attractive you find him (me couldn’t agree more to this, keke~). Natural/comfortable charm becomes his specialty.
For instance, RTP which was aired in Taiwan not long ago had garnered pretty good ratings. In this series, we can see a PYC who couldn’t care less about his image/appearance (in other words, he’s not the typical type who has to look handsome all the time when the camera is rolling ^^ ), together with his “cute” acting……he acts as a Joseon prince who travels 300 years to the 21st century, funny plot……he’s really nailed the character with his very natural acting.
…
…
Need we say more, vote PYC, vote RTP, ppl…hahaha…
Oh, another media person trying to describe Yuchun’s attraction without knowing the whole story. “Super adorable/cute type” yes, but then there is the charismatic leadership type and sexy hot type and silly playful type and couldn’t careless how he looks type and sincere look straight into your eyes type and honest and unafraid to show his weaknesses type and deep soulful tearful type and poetic mysterious artistic type and conservative family man type and modern rap bad boy type…… I could keep going, but let’s just say he shouldn’t put into a small box of a flower boy.
Ikr? As long as they are not talking somethin’ negative, I’m happy. Maybe this media person who wrote this is not a person who knows much about YC, to begin with. She might have written based on the general public’s perceptions as to who YC is in their eyes based on his acting in RTP & SKKS.
She might not be as thorough as how you described him…but hey, at least she’s got two sides of YC right, that’s a good start, haha~
ps: btw, your description of YC, me LOVE!!! I’m like bingo, checked, yes, yes, yes! …all da way!

Totally agree!! Idk if it should be taken as a compliment, I mean to be labeled as a flower boy, haha~~~
But…flower = pretty…so in a way, it’s a compliment? Maybe in Taiwan, they consider that as a compliment! Idk!! To me, PYC is definitely more than flower. If they must put him in that “flower” box, then they should consider adding into the description: “a non-typical multi-talented more-than-good-looks” flower boy, haha~ YES! ..this sounds more like it.
And oh, this >>> “sincere look straight into your eyes type”
I think they did mention somethin’ near this in the latter half of the clip, and asked: “how is it possible not to go gaga over him?!” xDDD
Also mentioned in the latter half:
A good boy-next-door appearance gives him the advantage over JGS (erm, I wonder why he was brought into the picture? ) in challenging roles that are more difficult for JGS to play.
Take for example, his debut drama – SKKS, this flower boy is acting all serious, a person with principles, and he is equally likeable and well-received by all.
this is where my mom opinion should be shared, mom said he look like korean, ok it sound weird but she think k new generation did plastic surgery a lot & nose, eyes look like foreigner unlike korean, YC look like true korean LOL, is weird but I think she is right and that is why he look so good with hanbok
And he is likable by both sex, in SKKS some girls who like flower boy don’t like him much because he has scars but my friend who is a guy said at least he is manly compare to flower boys who he think doesn’t look like man
The reason I attracted to YC was because he is manly & those eyes, but found out later that he is prettier than any girls…… face palm
it took me about 6 month to analyze why did I go crazy over him

HAHA, say hi to your mom and oh, do tell her that I agree with her, keke. PYC does look like a true Korean amongst the many Korean new generation celebrities. Now that you mentioned, no wonder he looks so good in hanbok. Hanbok is meant for Koreans, goodness, that’s why!! lol~~~
And she’s so right, many Koreans are not looking like Koreans anymore. They are trading the Korean features to look western, thru surgeries, which is kinda sad. I guess when ppl mention a typical “flower boy”, this is what they meant. A western face: big eyes, double eyelids, bridge of nose higher than the westerners, poreless face etc…no doubt, they look pretty and all but at the same time they are losing the originality of Korean features, which is gettin’ rare and really precious nowadays.
Ikr?? That PYC – manly but at the same time, prettier than girls >.< doesn’t make sense at all, but it’s true, hahaha~~~
…and you know what, I love that scar of his. Omo, does this mean I’m not a girl??? keke~~~

@Lisa exactly YC is not flower boy for me, his look is not typical flower boy korean either, he is just different, he is like wild free spirit that can’t be tame & can’t be change, he got all weird combo, he is delicate but fearless, sensitive but strong
“sincere look straight into your eyes” <<<< that burn the soul to deep my fav.
Nodding in agreement…so true! He’s got all the weirdest combos.

@bubbly – his scar, I really love it too. I've tried to analyze why. Makes him look more masculine, makes a statement that he is genuine without trying to cover up anything, somehow compliments that sexy dark aura he exudes. But in the end, I just get that reaction that is unexplainable.
I told ya, lemme see…we have China, Singapore…now Taiwan too! Everywhere loves PYC! Yay!
Well bubbly dear, that is the power of his charm nobody can’t resist

Off to vote for today, haha~ Have you voted?
Bubbly dear, My habit is every morning to vote and being a campaign manager to remind all my Chunsa’s friend
