Park Yoo Chun to Embark on Asia Fan Meeting Tour
Park Yoo Chun is embarking on a trip to meet with his fans in Asia.
On July 27, C-Jes Entertainment announced the fan meeting tour saying, “Next month beginning in Shanghai on August 25, Park Yoo Chun will travel through Asia including Taiwan and Thailand to hold fan meetings.”
The fan meetings comes after Park Yoo Chun’s rise in popularity from his dramas including most recently Rooftop Prince.
Park Yoo Chun expressed his feelings through his agency saying “I’m thankful so many people are sending their love in Asia and I think the upcoming tour will be a fun time to meet with fans. I’m glad I will be able to relive my fond memories as Lee Sun Joon, Song Yoo Hyun and Lee Gak and share my stories.”
The agency added that one or two more dates and locations for the fan meeting may be added in the near future.

i remember back in one of his interviews he said at the end of June he will decide on a project and will get himself very busy. what’s happening? other than fan meet i still want him to take on a project like drama before this year end.
C-Jes can you reschedule his schedule make it fan meeting do it in 1 month and from Sep to Dec doing a Kdrama or release a solo album…. Balance his schedule…. because they are a lot of fans waiting for him not only on that 3 countries that you have mentioned…what about us have pity on us

Relax guys… I believe he’s got other stuff up his sleeves… no way he will be doing just fanmeets for the rest the year… stuff are probably still in the planning stages and I expect official announcements will be out when the time is right… also, we’ve got to remember that the guy has had a gruelling first half of the year, and is only just recovering from a serious eye condition… so lets give him some time folks… Cheers!
p.s. fanmeets in Aug and Sept just means there’s a lot of time for him to spend working on his music and sifting through proposals for drama/film projects

Call me dumb, but I really don’t know how things work anymore. I really wanna know:
At this point, did he get to choose or decide what projects he wanna do, which he wishes to reject, where he wanna go and where he doesn’t, you get what I mean?
Or is C-JeS doin’ all the filtering, and eventually decides for him. If I remember correctly, they are just an agent, they’ll only take charge of the scheduling for him, am I right? Or did I miss somethin’ here? Who has the final say?
My point is: I hope whatever it is, end of the day YC gets to decide for himself, because he knows his own strengths and weaknesses more than anybody else. More importantly, I just don’t trust anybody anymore. Sad but true.

Aww stop worrying yourself girl… personally i don’t doubt that he has full control over his career… he comes across as very strong-willed and decisive… he knows what he wants and sets his goals… plus i don’t see why the agency would intentionally suppress his career growth, and i don’t think this is a guy who would let another entity control him like that again… since we are not privy to all the facts, lets not second guess or imagine… he’s got enough smarts and wisdom, so lets just trust that he knows what he’s doing and where he’s going… if there are any mistakes along the way, he will learn from those (read: Ripley keke)… after all that’s what Freedom is all about, isn’t it?

If indeed it is YC who needs more time-off, then by all means baby, we are all behind you, we can wait.
Come back full swing only when you are ready.
But if it is for other reasons, then I hope somebody will be kind enough to pay some attention to what is botherin’ him, before the problem gets bigger.

Agree that there could be problems… in fact i’m sure there are problems, but not necessarily in the way fans may imagine them to be… we don’t know the whole picture and all the speculating and excessive worrying ultimately helps no one… he’s a big boy and this is his life to live, so let us trust that he will deal with the ups and downs that come with his life and career in a manner that is best for him and his family-friends-colleagues… that is all I’m saying.

I am eager to know too. Was really happy when he sounded so excited during those interviews post-RTP, stating that he would quickly decide on his next project. It may be that between then and now, unforeseen circumstances may have held him back or made him change his mind. OR it is also entirely possible that he has already chosen his next project but it is simply not the right time for an announcement yet.
I’m thinking he may want to go back to his music next because it seems a lot of people may be forgetting that side of him. I’ll be the happiest if that is the case, BUT I’m also greedy and fervently wish for another acting project from him before the year ends! Is that possible? what’s wrong with fanmeeting tour? i know singer/actor/entertainer/everything (lol) like lee seung gi also do the same thing. not exactly a ‘tour’, but he held fanmeeting in various countries after he wrapped up his drama. other actors also did the same thing after their drama wrapped up, they could go as a drama team fanmeeting, but some actors promote by themselves since their activities aren’t limited to one drama. it’s nothing shameful, not degrading yoochun’s singing talent by any least (hey, yoochun can even sing during fanmeeting), and it’s good for his activities promotion. he could get more overseas dramas offer after this and his dramas would be purchased by more countries. i do expect solo album or jyj album or new drama/movie, but give him some slack… at least he won’t disappear under radar and interract with us fans. all the best for chunnie. i hope his next project will be even better!

fairly said, jaejoong indeed did well in dr. jin. yoochun’s acting isn’t perfect either, but overall i still prefer him over jaejoong. i don’t really like rooftop prince as a drama, but yoochun as lee gak is on the whole different level.
anyway, you said you want to consider watching dr. jin? wait. yep jaejoong is doing good, but the whole drama is an absolute horror. if you want to laugh at the whole production or drool over the actors, you might want to watch it. but if you expect something as awesome as the japan drama, stay away from it.
shoot.. this is what I’ve been thinking!! in my mind, Dr. Jin as the whole drama is not that good (compared to excellent and well-rounded SKKS), it’s just that they have JJ in it that it’s popular, isn’t it?

Personally, I hate polls. I would only make time and effort to participate in polls if I would be able to see the winner accept the award on tv. Why does everything kpop or hallyu have to be associated with polls? I wish korea would have an award-giving body that has drama/film critics who get to decide the winners and not by devoted fans.
Jj has the biggest idol fanbase internationally so it’s understandable that he wins that poll by a landslide. I expect every international poll that has Jj’s name on it to be his to lose. He has the most devoted and protective fans. The commentaries on that seoulbeat poll were really intense. Good thing Yc’s fans were so busy with SDA.
I would not want chunsas to stoop to that level. There was already so much chaos in JYJ fandom recently. Let’s just give Yc some peace.

Well I guess that’s how they show their support to Jj especially now that Jj and the other 2 are blocked on music and variety shows. They want every poll to be won by their idol which I understand since it feels good when you know your idol is the most popular. There’s a feeling of self-empowerment when you know you belong to the biggest fandom, reminds of DB5K’s Cassiopeia when the 5 were at the height of their popularity. Other fandoms were saying back then that cassies were so cocky.
I think most of his fans belong to the idol market and you know how devoted and competitive idol fans are.
