Explanation for Yoochun’s Twitter deactivation revealed
JYJ Yoochun‘s sudden deactivation of his Twitter has made many fans curious as to why he might have done it.
Yoochun left a Twitter post on August 1st that read, “I am always so grateful that you are always cheering me on and showing me your love and support. I want to greet you guys in the future with great music, acting, and promotions…^^ Once again, I am sincerely grateful and I love you!! ♥.”
Twitter was a way for Yoochun to communicate with his fans and the sudden deactivation has caused speculation.
Many have assumed that he deactivated his Twitter because of sasaeng fans like Super Junior’s Heechul, but that does not appear to be the case for Yoochun.
A representative of Yoochun told OSEN on August 2nd, “In his fans point of view, this was a ‘sudden’ move, and I think that is why a lot of misunderstandings came up. He did not delete his Twitter for any particular reason. He has been neglecting his Twitter after opening it so I think that troubled him. Many fans are waiting for him to update his Twitter and send him many mentions, but he can’t reply back daily so he decided it would be better to deactivate his Twitter rather than continue to neglect it.”
“His reason for deactivating his Twitter is not because he developed a personal problem nor is it because he had a change of heart. ”
On another note, Yoochun is currently preparing for his Asia Fan Meeting Tour that will start on August 25th in Shanghai.

Personally, I think that the explanation above is accurate. He knew that we hang around Twitter and were waiting for his tweets like desert waiting for rain (it was THAT bad ok? xDDD). Like the article said, he was basically neglecting his twitter, and I think the reason is that something as public (and dramatic) as Twitter simply doesn’t suit him. It’s not healthy for both him and us so it’s best to end it. So let’s cheer for his decision (and hang around 6002SKY instead xD) and support his future projects that he has promised us!!!

If I am on the shoes of Park Yuchun, this is also what I am going to do. Of course some fans are expecting from me, that you will reply or send a message, since I will not able to do that responsibility as an Idol, it is better to close so that all my fans are not expecting from me.
But some fans say, it is okey it you will not able to response as long as we have a way to send the message that we want to say for you.
But for the short time that I know Park Yuchun, he is a responsible man, he does not like that is okey, as much as possible he wants to give or to do whatever he can, he does not want that fans feel that they are neglected.
So to have peace of mind, maybe because he is bothering by his conscience he decided to close this account.
For me, it is okey if he decided to close this account temporarily until he was ready to open again, anyway, there are so means to communicate us….even with or without tweeter account as long as he makes him happy.

I love his style, like: I see a problem; I fix it there and then.
No unnecessary dragging that leads to even more speculations, very clever.
He could have easily made full advantage of the situation, drag for a couple more days, and grab a couple more headlines before clearing the clouds.
But he didn’t, my baby is handling the situation like a man, ppl.

He could have easily put the blame on his sasaeng fans and cut the story short. Since everybody is already assuming that the sasaeng fans is the reason why he deleted his account in the first place.
This is his best shot to play the victim card and also the perfect chance to get back at those sasaeng fans for making him look bad and who have been harassing him day in and day out but……he didn’t.
Did you see that sasaeng fans? He doesn’t take advantage of the situation and make you gals look bad, he still love you gals, so, why not leave him alone from now on, yes?

he is a very considerate man, he thinks about his fans truly from his heart…
I mean, if I were him, I could’ve let the twitter account stay there and not posting anything for years, just like some guys who like to “hang” a girl’s heart around just by making her “hope” for his affection! If YC let the account to be there and he’s not doing anything, then lots of fans will be waiting for him everyday, checking his account just to find nothing.. he’s really smart and thinks ahead!

Typical of him to downplay situations. His last tweet was so positive and hopeful and then he had to release a statement to end speculations a day after deactivating his acct. He did not drag it. He still ended it in a positive mode and he impressed me more for that. I’m even surprised he lasted that long on twitter since everyone knows he values his privacy so much. I don’t think he’ll ever go back to twitter. He strikes me as that guy who does not look back to his past.

IKR! This performance would have been so much better if it were only YC and JS covering the whole song. For me, Yunho’s not gifted with a natural singing voice. Yunho’s voice is passable because he had vocal lessons. No offense meant to his fans.
YC’s timbre is my favorite since DB5K era. He just lacks in technique. His lifestyle (smoking, drinking) does not help either. If only he had the technique of Junsu, he would not be slighted by some people. He really needs to take good care of his voice if he plans on pursuing his singing career.

yeah, I’m new to DB5K and JYJ and ever since I started listening to their songs, I’ve fell in love with his voice! I love JS’ but JJ’s too high-pitched for me.. they 3 have great voices but I’m only attracted to YC’s <3 yes he should realize that he has this great gift and should not neglect it, even if he doesn't want to pursue his singing career, IMO…

And frankly, while I have grown to like both JS’s and JJ’s voices, YC’s is the only one amongst the five voices that I was instinctively attracted to right from the beginning. And while he may fall short in technique, he has a natural ability to infuse so much feeling into his singing in very “natural” way, which is right up my alley (this is different to, say, how JS usually likes to do emotions in his singing – dramatic, theatrical and larger than life).

Totally agree with you on this. You described Junsu as a performer perfectly! This is the reason why Junsu reminds me of a young Michael Jackson~~~ Distinctive, powerful vocals, dancing prowess and flamboyance on stage. He’s an entertainer and an artist born to perform on live stage, in front of a huge crowd. While with YC, I can picture him performing on a more intimate setting~~~ probably with a piano, strings/ acoustic sounds. Just in a calm/relaxing mode, connecting to the audience.

Agreed on all your comments. An intimate unplugged session would be perfect for Chun. And I think he loves that idea too. Remember how his wish for Christmas during the last JYJ fanmeet was an acoustic mini concert?
In fact, not just Chun, I would love for JYJ to do an unplugged session as well, coz I loved it when they did those two songs in NY for MTVK during their 2010 US showcases.

It’s been hard on you this year, hasn’t it? If distancing yourself like this is what will make you feel better and whole again, then do it. Sadly, this move on your part hurts a lot. And it’ll probably hurt alot more fans out there. Even though that might not be your intention, this move feels like you gave up on us. As if you don’t want to connect with us anymore. Frankly it hurts. But whatever pain it is I feel at the moment, it will eventually fade away. You however, have to live with the decisions you make. If this decision makes your life a whole lot better, then so be it. Afterall this is your life, not mine.
Don’t we love him for his guts though? It’s like he’s saying, “This is me. Take it or leave it.” He’s not like other celebs who want to please everyone just because they’re scared of losing their popularity. He’s just being real. He’s calculating. He even said himself that he can see through people. I think he’s not the type that can be easily deceived. Being his fan is a roller coaster ride. His fandom needs to be filtered out once in awhile to get rid of impurities. This is why I think his fans are keepers. We get to accept his whole being.

Good reason to give in a public statement, but likely to be only part of the truth.
I’m thinking that twitter has always been a mixed bag of positives and negatives for him. Maybe he’s been holding on for all the good while trying to ignore the bad, but in the aftermath of all the recent events he may have finally felt that the negatives far outweigh the positives and decided that it’s enough. Couldn’t have been an easy decision for him.
To the chunsas on twitter who are heartbroken, I feel you guys…(couldn’t help feeling sad myself even though I’m not even active on twitter). Just wish you guys don’t leave twitter simply because THE 6002 is no longer around. Isn’t it still a good way to stay in touch with fellow chunsas and keep the 6002 love alive?……. I had been away only for a few days and then when I came back…BAM… everybody was in frenzy and I was wondering, what happened? Then I found out Yoochun deleted his twitter. For a moment I was kind of in a state of suspended animation, I can’t believe that he actually did it. After a while though, when I thought I would be more affected, when it actually happened, I was not and though a part of me would definitely miss his tweets, a bigger part of me is actually happy now knowing without any lingering doubt whatsoever that Yoochun is his own man.
Yoochun makes decisions for his own interest while also taking into regard the thoughts and feelings of others hence that sweet tweet he sent to fans just before he deleted his account. It is his way of saying “I am OK, do not worry. You may not see me but know I am there.” Yoochun is someone who makes his own decisions; not decisions based on some poll or anyone else for that matter. He lives is life base on his own truth. Some may call it arrogance or even brainlessness but I’d like to refer to it as confidence/ self reliance.
Take heart everyone. Yoochun knows what he is doing and for some reasons, I have this lingering feeling like something big is about to happen. He will find ways to communicate and connect to fans, this time in a more personal and intimate manner than sending tweets randomly. I have complete trust in this man and so far he has yet to disappoint me.

Unexpectedly he tweeted, I can’t believe my eyes and translation come out, I don’t know how to take his sudden love & thank u tweet, he don’t normally do that.
Next minute, T line panic saying they cannot see but I still can see so I didn’t panic and I felt positive about deleting his twitter like he is moving on and something awesome will come. I thought to delete
At night, I told “close your eyes, hold your heart & send love to his heart” my twitter donsengs laugh at me saying I sound like pathetic ex-girlfriend.
I suddenly woke up at 4 am cannot sleep again, I felt the emptiness, twitter doesn’t seem interesting at all and I was so down all day.
Whole day was like sitting in graveyard, chunsa disappeared, our chunsa translators and friends said goodbyes to go hiatus, I felt so sad without news, translations, spazz how are we gonna support him.

This is what I felt today, normally I check twitter every now & then to wait his rare tweets or new, today I didn’t have to look at twitter.
He is artist we are fan, he want to be actor who don’t need make up or camera angle, I bet he want to be artist who is loved for his art. He don’t like giving fanservice to please fan, don’t like doing charity for public image. This is his way to become true artist lets support that.

this is first day Japanese fanmeet, look at his “i did it, phew” look at the end
his face is red, swollen & no make up & many fan tweeted that day that he is sweating a lot & can see he is in a lot of pain but he is still smiling so widely.
Second day korean fanmeet, see the difference in his look & singing, i have no idea how did he managed to sing with swollen face in first place but he is true handsome from heart in that fanmeets.

i also know prince6002 through skks. his acting makes me want to know him. he really look different off the set.and in jyj new album , the beginning. now he has a special place in my heart. without twt, i can’t drop any message to him. I’m missing him very much. hopefully he will take a new project soon & can’t wait for sda. hopefully he will attend it.
Me too, I fell in love w/ SKKS the first time I watched. I never knew then that he’s a singer.I kept on rewatching it to the point wherein it doesn’t play anymore. Unfortunately the DVD is not mine, I just borrowed it fr a friend.
So in the end I have to buy another copy to replace it. And I bought one 4 for me too, so I can watch it fr time to time.
He really acted well for a first timer. No wonder he received 7 awards for this drama alone.

yes he is a great actor, you can see it in his DB5K eras, he always played the main actor (if not the second lead actor, but almost never extras if I remember correctly) in banjun dramas.. He was already good in “Dating on Earth”! I guess people already recognized that he has a talent as an actor
