This is the first time for Park Yuchun to challenge to play a character of an ordinary man. He firstly dropped from the prince, the sun of a minister, and the successor of a millionaire. His old longing is expressed through young detective who is playing innocence, acting greasy and being outrageous. He is likely to show wide range of performance via this opportunity.
The other theme of <I Miss You> is the separation and gathering of family and the affection among the members of pseudo-family. While Lee Sooyeon has the relation with Harry as a sister and a lover, Han Jungwoo has a mother-son relationship with Lee Sooyeon’s mother. In fact, the love between Lee Sooyeon and Harry is close to dark and sticky love between near relatives. Somehow, the two look like sexless.
The wound of Jungwoo and Sooyeon who try to keep their love to the end and cannot eliminate the memory of love exists within the tangled web of ties. In fact, considering the character, it is OK for Jungwoo to be crazier. Since he is actually the one who was locked and became the prisoner of the past..

Yup my crazy rabbit has more demons to overcome, …but all 3 leads are locked in their emotional scars and are prisoners of their past….
HJW has more feelings of guilt, HJ more of revenge and SY more of lack of trust ….
‘His old longing is expressed through young detective who is playing innocence, acting greasy and being outrageous.’
Lol! that’s just Chunnie being himself….
‘The other theme of is the separation and gathering of family and the affection among the members of pseudo-family.’…
Yup… <33333 the HJW's&LSY's mama relation and hope it'll stay that way….

And I am hoping that writer-nim in the end will free him from the past and give him peace; make him realize that the world does not revolve around LSY, there are plenty of people who loves and appreciates him, from his half sister to his pseudo family to his co workers. This drama has the potential to be a heartwarming family drama and I hope writer-nim will explore that more than make LSY and KHJ play their childish games/ revenge on HJW. YEH once said that LSY character is heartwarming, well, I have yet to see that. At this point of the story, I just find her a little annoying. Maybe because I am old and cynical and in my line of work I have dealt with real victims. Rape is not something one should take lightly but LSY is luckier than most real victims because she was given a chance to live a better life. If only real victims are all given that same chance but alas, life isn’t always fair.

That’s the sad truth. The only stuck in the past is Han Jung Woo. So sad.
@love
Sad truth but outta the three of them, HJW’s grown up the best, despite the mental torture he’s been put through when he was 15..
..he grows up positive, hopeful, he treats ppl with love and ppl around him love him back.
He even tells LSY’s mama that it’s wrong to celebrate somebody’s death even though he hated that son of a b*tch so much.
LSY & KHJ are so full of hate and revengeful, especially KHJ.
