121218 Park Yoochun Says, “I Didn’t Know Becoming A ‘Crazed Rabbit’ Would Be This Hard”

Though the atmosphere had been awkward between Park Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hae and Yoo Seung Ho just last month when the first press conference for MBC’s ‘I Miss You’ was held on the 1st of November, they were joking around and laughing together as if that had never happened during the press conference on the 17th of December. Yoo Seung Ho described his friendship with Yoon Eun Hae as he stated, “I like Eun Hae the most. Really. She’s more easy-going than I thought she would be and we get along. I really like her.” Park Yoochun showered Yoo Seung Ho with praise as he said he was “Deeply moved,” by Yoo Seung Ho’s sobbing scene. ‘I Miss You’, which has been mixing melodrama with suspense after drawing attention with great child actors till episode five, is now reaching the end of its series. We met with the three actors who are running the show.

Park Yoochun “I Think it Would be Best to End On A Sad Note”

The up-do hairstyle I’ve had in the drama was 100% my opinion. The change in the storyline seemed to fit well with a change in hairstyle, so I think the timing was right to do so. But I kind of felt sad about going from my up-do hairstyle to leaving my hair down. (laughter) It made me think, “I’m going to film all the scenes that require me to keep my hair down, and judging by the reaction I receive, I’m going to put it back up.”

Because I’ve had to cry every episode, I think I’ve gotten used to crying… (laughter) Personally, I think it would be best to end on a sad note. I think that would leave the viewers with a stronger lingering imagery in the end. If we take into consideration everything that has happened till now, I think it would be an overkill to end with a happy ending.

I tried very hard to bring over the Han Jung Woo that (Yeo) Jin Goo acted out. Han Jung Woo is a character who has remained the same with the same thoughts for the past 14 years. Because of that, I thought he would still have the same way of speaking and habits that he had when he was a middle schooler. I monitored all the episode up till the fourth one very carefully, even down to the way he hit the ground with his feet when he was on the swings, to reflect his characteristics into my Han Jung Woo.

Though I don’t lose my temper has often as Jung Woo does, I think I’m like him in the fact that I’m true to my emotions. Though I used to lose my temper often in the past, my personality has changed a lot since I’ve learned to relax and take my time. (laughter) These days, I only lose my temper once every two or three years at the most.

Since the fourth or fifth episode, I’ve been thinking, ‘I didn’t know becoming a ‘crazed rabbit’ would be this hard.’ I also realized that constantly being emotion and going crazy in an instant would be hard. But I didn’t know it would be this hard. (laughter) Having to explode and project your anger in a second is so hard. But I think I’ve gotten better at it. I’m proud to see that I’ve gotten used to it since I first had to start acting in the fifth episode.

Because I’ve only seen (Yoo) Seung Ho act in serious scenes mostly, I thought that’s what his actual personality was like. But I found through being on set with him that he’s a bright and happy person. If I were to talk about Seung Ho these days, it would be to say that he eats so many tangerines and I’m not exactly sure why. I think it might be because he’s lonely. (laughter)

Youngdeok crab will be in season when we finish filming. (laughter) I’d like to go out for Youngdeok crab with the staff when we’re done filming. And if the viewer ratings go over 20%, I’ll donate tangerines and rice to those in need with Yoo Seung Ho in ‘I Miss You”s name.
